Rental, Mortgage, and Utility Assistance Program

The Families First Initiative is designed to prevent homelessness by offering support to at-risk families in Escondido. With targeted workshops, financial assistance, housing stability planning, and workforce development, this initiative aims to equip families with the tools and resources they need to maintain housing and achieve long-term stability.

Utility Assistance (Water not eligible)

Rental and Mortgage Assistance

Wraparound Case Management offering long-term coordination and accountability.

Requirements to be eligible:

Household resides in Escondido,

Meet the AMI 80% or lower

Documented COVID impact.

Household must have late payment notice from property or utility company
