FYI, Wildcats and Wildcat Families … Our *final* Family Days at Lunch for the 2025-2026 school year is here! 6TH & 8TH GRADES Tuesday, May 19 7TH GRADE Wednesday, May 20 LUNCH HOURS: 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM (6th Grade, 7th Grade Lunch A) 12:35 PM 1:05 PM (8th Grade, 7th Grade Lunch B) • Families can only bring lunch for their own student(s). • No pizzas or other food for sharing! Any food that is brought can only be eaten by the student & their family. • Food cannot be dropped off. Families need to eat the food with their student during the lunch event. • Families are welcome to bring their own chairs. Some lunches will be held outside so there will be plenty of room for families to spread out. PARENTS: Make sure your student knows you are coming! STUDENTS: Make sure your family knows what time you have lunch! CONSIDER PARKING WHEN PLANNING OUT YOUR TIME! • There is not much available parking inside the school. • Lunches are only 30 minutes long. • Everyone is welcome to purchase a lunch in our cafeteria. • All family members MUST sign in as they ENTER the side gate by the Auditorium. • The main office will not be signing-in for Family Lunches. • This might take an hour in total, so please plan accordingly!

The Escondido Union School District held its Spring #eSports Championships last Wednesday (April 29). All EUSD middle schools were in attendance, and students waged friendly battle in four games: Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, Rocket League, and FC '24. The competition was fierce, and Mission came away with two 2nd Place finishes on the night. FYI, *future* Wildcats and Wildcat Families … Mission Middle School presents our "6th Grade Welcome Showcase" for all of the 5th Graders (and their families) at our feeder schools (Farr, Lincoln, Pioneer, and Rose Elementary Schools) slated to attend Mission later this year in August. This wonderful event will be held this Wednesday, April 29, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This informational meeting and learning showcase is a great opportunity to tour the campus, get information about registration and enrollment, see student projects and artifacts on display, and meet our fantastic administrators, teachers, and counselors.
